P&O:
new ferry Spirit of France now in service
Since its maiden voyage in February
this year,the new ship, Spirit of France,
has joined the P&O fleet on the Dover to Calais route.
Once you arrive in Calais, Normandy is nearer than you think: just over
a two hour drive down the motorway.

Jazz
under the apple trees!
From
12th to 19th May, the medieval city of Coutances in the Manche hosts
the 31st Jazz sous les pommiers festival.
Artists including Pink Martini, Kurt Elling, Marcus Miller and
Archie Shepp will be playing at Western France's biggest jazz festival
with over 70 concerts.
