This mill recalls the importance of the milling in the countryside, dating back to the 13th century and it is the last windmill operating in Normandy.
In the 17th century, four other mills were built from wood on this plateau around this one which was already called Moulin de pierre (Stone Mill).
Its turning roof (oriented according to the direction of the wind) in an oak structure covered with reeds, its tower with elegant stones as well as its large wings add to its proud appearance.
