With more than 600km of coastline, Normandy is home to numerous fishing villages, coastal towns and major ports with a long heritage of maritime activity, something that has always been, and still is, vitally important to the local communities and region as a whole.
This press trip will cover aspects such as the centenary of the voyage of the Titanic from the port of Cherbourg and the restoration of the Mont Saint Michel to return it to its rightful maritime setting.

D-Day: The Coast of Heroes

With the 70th anniversary of D-Day fast approaching, how are the museums and attractions adapting to a new generation of visitors to ensure that the legacy of those who risked and lost their lives are not forgotten?
